We finally replaced the fake crystal chandelier with a more modern light fixture. We also replaced the the Buzzing fluorescent light in the Kitchen. Not we are actually starting some decorating. One note... You should not install the big chandelier when you are still working... your head will thank you for this :-)

When your fiance say's that she doesn't like a wall, what do you do? Well, you get out the sawzall and get rid of it. This is the second wall wall that was removed. It was not load bearing, and came out very easily. Just cleaning up the wall, and doing some spackling, but not too bad. Only now we have to patch the hardwood that was below it.

Well, As you can see, we started to replace the kitchen door. My parents and my brother came down to help with this one. My dad helped with the door, and my brother did some landscaping... (I'll show pitures in my next blog). The door went pretty smooth. It's nice to have the space that we need to put in our future kitchen. If I were to do it again, I'd cut lower and install a door base to help the look on the outside. Not needed, just an afterthought.

This is a quick list of projects that I have planned for the house.

Well, this is the first house that we have bought. The house is located in Hillsborough, NJ. In my future blog's you will see how we update this house by removing some walls, remodeling the kitchen and living room, and add some personaly touches here and there. We have been in the house for about a month, so right now I am going to be back blogging for a bit to catch up to the current progress.
